Week 2

We've had a very busy week this week in our learning and had lots of fun along the way.

In Numeracy, we looked at how to identify relationships between units of metric measurements, how to estimate and use measuring equipment accurately and how to work out measuring lengths of time.

Week 1

A warm welcome to Elm Class, we hope you all enjoyed your summer break.  Our children have had a fabulous start to the new year!

Our Topic this term is - David Walliams.

This week we have been researching and collecting data on books by David Walliams.  In Numeracy, we have used different methods of showing how data handling can be shown, line graphs, pie charts and bar graphs.  For Design and Technology, we looked Granny's recipes using cabbage.  The children even dared to try cabbage chocolate!  In Literacy, the children wrote a report using their researched information about David Walliams.
