Term 5

This term our topic is Dinosaurs!  We are very excited by this, as you can imagine.  We are learning about the many different kinds of dinosaurs, what they liked to eat, whether they were carnivores or herbivores, and what size they were.  Andy from Ceebeebies has been helping us with this at https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/shows/andys-dinosaur-adventures

We have made our own Dinosaur Museum which is in the classroom, and to which entry is possible only with a ticket!  Outside, we have Dino World, a “natural” habitat of sticks, stones, wood and swamp for the dinosaurs who live in Cherry Class.  We also have been excavating fossils in our sand tray.  We are making a dinosaur scrapbook to show everyone what we have found out.

We have also made some ferocious-looking dinosaur masks, and are currently sponge-painting our papier-mache dinosaur eggs.  Maybe some of them will hatch!
