Tuesday 3rd December 2019

Weston Hills took part in a cross-country event at Spalding Grammar School Rugby Club. We did incredibly well, encouraging each other and cheering each other on throughout the morning. The children didn't give up, even towards the end of the race! Weston Hills came overall 3rd in the 'small schools' category, as well as two of our groups winning bronze medals and the other two groups winning silver medals!

Netball Club- Tuesday 3rd December 2019

In netball club this week the team worked on spacing and trying not to crowd the ball. They could see the benefit of spreading out so the game can progress. Towards the end, they played games to implement the spacing technique- playing in a position that they wanted to practise in smiley

Monday 16th December 2019

Inspire+ visited our school to teach the children an inclusive sport called New Age Kurling. The aim is to try and roll the stones on to the targets. The children loved taking part and learning a different sport- seeing their individual and team's improvement as the session went on. Every class had a brilliant time!
