In assembly some of the children from Oak Class performed in front of the whole school and their parents. Jake played 'Old MacDonald' on the piano and Alfie, Owen and Laith performed 'Haunted Castle' on the piano.
Well done to all four of them, they were very brave! Thank you to Charlotte Carr for her time and support.
Our role play area this term is a flower shop and our question is 'What would you like to grow into?'
We are thoroughly enjoying exploring the area and all the new props.
This week we are looking at the properties of 3D shapes. We have been making 'nets' and creating our own 3D shapes. We have been learning the terms and vocabulary for these, such as faces, edges and corners/vertices.
It was fun to explore which nets would wrap the shapes successfully. We used lots of mathematical language.
