Visit to Tattershall Farm Park on Thursday 11th July 2019
We went with Oak Class to see all the animals and join in playground fun.
A mysterious parcel arrived at our school, from Mrs Gibbin`s old school. We opened it and found a gigantic dinosaur egg, which we had to immerse in water for a specified number of days until the egg cracked, and then leave the emergent dinosaur in water for a further 5-8 days until it had reached maximum size.
We all chose a name, and Mrs Sharpe pulled out the winner! He is a male dinosaur called Steg! We wrote, and then posted, letters back to Lexi and the rest of Willow Class at Clough & Risegate Primary School.
Science Week sowing seeds meant we had a bumper harvest! We are so happy with our crops!
On Friday 21st June, we had Molson`s Opticians in to talk to us about the importance of looking after our eyes. We even had a visit from Mr Mole!
Term 6 started with Music Week, when the whole-school celebrated the work of Scott Joplin. In Cherry Class, we made our own instruments and songs; got together in groups to form our own bands; drew around our hands, one black and one white, and performed to The Entertainer in a special assembly for our parents. An exciting week full of creativity!
