Congratulations to Keiry for winning and 'Easy Peasy Pizza' kit from the Ideal School Meals competition.

Wednesday 20th October 2021

In Music we played 'Dance Monkey' on the Boomwhackers.  It was very fast and we played chords - all playing at the same time.  It sounded amazing!

Friday 15th October 2021

In Art we learned about our primary and secondary colours'  We mixed 2 primary colours together to make new colours on our colour wheels.

We really enjoyed painting today!

Friday 8th October 2021

In Art today we have made our own clay tiles!   Please take a look.

Wednesday 6th October

Today Oliver and Amber received their Worship Council badges.  The children had all voted in Oak class as to who they would like to represent them and Oliver and Amber received the highest amount of votes!

Friday 1st October 2021

Today in Art we explored clay!    We were so excited to use the tools and out hands to manipulate the clay.

This was a practise to get us ready for making clay tiles next week!

Friday 24th September 2021

In Science we have been learning about our senses.  We used our sense of smell and taste to explore tropical fruit!  Some children tried some of the fruit for the first time and loved it!

Tuesday 21st September 2021

The children in Oak class voted for who they thought would be really good on the School Council. They voted for Corey and Max.  Well done boys!

Last week we did some experiments for touch and for hearing when investigating the senses in Science.  For touch we had to put our hands inside a sock before guessing what objects were in the bag, and for hearing, we had to guess which instrument was making the sound we heard when we closed our eyes.

In our Geography work, we looked at the outside of the school, and sketched it as part of our work on exploring the school and its grounds.  We then practised making a route around the playground, giving and following directions in pairs.

Great teamwork from everyone in Oak Class!

On Monday 13th September we had Mr Sharman for P.E.  We played the 'Toilet' game, the 'Spiderman' game and the 'Rob the Bank' game.  As you can see int the photo's we all thoroughly enjoyed the session and we cannot wait until next Monday!

Our topic this term is 'Where we live' and we have been exploring the outside of Mrs Gibbin's house through photographs.  We have written about our own homes and build homes using different building materials.  As you can see from the pictures below, we are all really enjoying being in Oak class.

Our core Christian School Values are: FAITH, HOPE & LOVE This year we will explore the core values through: Hope, Perseverance, Generosity, Respect, Courage and Friendship.
