Willow Class Welcome Letter - September 2021
Willow Class enjoyed playing the game Heads Up, to use maths vocabulary when describing 2,3 or 4 digit numbers- talking about place value, odds and evens and greater than and less than. It was great to hear lots of discussion about numbers!
Sound is our new science topic! We used a variety of things to a make different sounds... thinking about how the sound is made and how we can hear it.
In PE with Mr Sharman, the children developed the skills in Hockey.
Science
This lesson we were investigating whether sound is clearer through solids, liquids or gases. We filled sandwich bags with air and water, putting it to our ears and recording how clear it sounded when tapped- we used a table for the solid medium.
