WELCOME TO TERM 2
Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th December 2021
Over 2 days Oak class and Cherry class performed their annual Nativity to their parents. This year's Nativity was 'Hey Ewe'. Due to restrictions, Cherry class parents watched on Tuesday and Oak class parents watched on Wednesday. The children performed beautifully.
Tuesday 14th December 2021
Today we made fantastic Christmas tree decorations, the children cannot wait to take them home!
Wednesday 1st December 2021
Today we had a visit from Miss Hobart at Lincolnshire Music Services to teach us all about music!
We learned about Camille Saint-Saens and we listened to 'The Carnival of the Animals'. We needed to watch and listen very carefully.
The Royal March of The Lion had 2 pianos, violins, cellos and double bass in it. We were excellent lions.
We then played instruments every time the bee on the video went onto a flower during the music Pizzicato Leo Delibes.
Wednesday 24th November 2021
Today we had our Royal Banquet day!
We made our own strawberry ice cream, fondant roses for our chocolate cakes and crowns.
After lunch we went outside to experience just how big Queen Victoria's wedding cake was! (40 cm high and 3.5 metres wide)
After this we were lucky to have the author Sharon Davey read her book 'Oh Sir Bragalot' virtually to us and answer some of our questions. At 2.30 pm we had our royal banquet. We enjoyed the ice cream, wedding cake and toasted the Queen (with juice). Well done to everyone that dressed up, you all looked amazing.!
Tuesday 2nd November 2021
Today we had Jack Medley from Inspire+ come into school to give us a very active PE lesson! We had to move in and out of the cone maze in different ways. We liked being 'Little Movers'.
