Understanding addition with place value counters
Art- Typography
This term in Art, we are looking at how alphabets and fonts are designed and then applying this knowledge to create a 3d map. We started by cutting random shapes from black paper and then Miss Parker challenged us to use our shapes to make the letters of the alphabet. Here are our results.
Understanding Spalding
On Wednesday 20th September, Holly and Willow embarked on a blustery journey to Spalding. While battling winds and rain, we learnt a lot about the small market town and began to understand more about the history of where we live. In the afternoon, we mixed the classes together and spent a fantastic few hours compiling all of the information we gathered during the day- resulting in some amazing collages all about Spalding!
