Term 6

We have not had much time to post on this page for a few weeks as we have been extremely busy with the production, swimming, leavers assembly practice and lots of other fun things have also been happening. I will try to put a photo dump on here soon.

Sorry  Mrs Twelves

English - We have been reminding ourselves of all the different forms of punctuation and when and where is should be used in our writing.

Maths - We studied place value this week, and found out there are more than one number systems which use place value all different numbers and digits.

We are now beginning to think ahead and think about what life may be like in the future...

We've had a busy first week back at school. We ended our History topic about WWII with a fabulous workshop where we talked about Anderson shelters and evacuation; role played being an evacuees and life with rationing.

We looked at many artefacts of that time and heard a story of how someone hid under the floorboards to hide from German Soldiers in occupied Belgium.

What was fascinating about that story is that, in that tiny space to keep his mind busy, he use a minute amount of light while hidden there in the daylight hours, and created beautiful jewellery made from old coins.

Week commencing 5/6/23

crying  Its so sad to say its our final term.

It is with mixed emotion, though we are excited to see our current year 6 children leave us to flourish and grow as young adults, its also with sadness that we have to say goodbye. So, what do you say, shall we make it a great final term and one to remember?

Brilliant!  Lets do this thing....

Our core Christian School Values are: FAITH, HOPE & LOVE This year we will explore the core values through: Hope, Perseverance, Generosity, Respect, Courage and Friendship.
