I have been asked by school to share with you some wonderful resources to help improve children`s speech, language and communication.
Whilst these resources were originally intended with children for speech and language needs, ALL children will benefit from the activities suggested, especially at a time where they are receiving less verbal interaction and social communication with peers and adults in school. So please take a look and see if any appeal!
The Parent Portal can be accessed at https://speechandlanguage.info/parents/activities. There are plenty of suggested activities to improve speaking and listening skills, and also some interactive games (scroll right down) to help develop sound discrimination, which is such a key part of phonics.
