Sorry for the lack of content on here its been a crazy couple of weeks and the last 2 days we obviously had some rather important visitors in school.
Week commencing 6/11/23
Welcome back to term 2, we hope you all had a great half term.
This term is cram packed with activities, school disco, Christmas wrap, Class parties, pantomime and more.
So lets go...
PE - Yoga with Mrs Edwards
Art- Brave Colour
This term, our Art topic is 'Brave Colour'. We will be looking at 3 different artists who all use colour in a strong way in their artworks. They are 'installation artists' who create their artworks in many different places including schools, hospitals, shops and even basketball courts and zebra crossings! During the topic, we will explore colour mixing and learn about how colours work together using vocabulary such as tint, shade, warm/cool, complimentary and harmonising. We will end our topic with a project inspired by artist Yinka Ilori where we will bring together everything we have learnt about colour to try and create an impactful design.
