Happy Holidays!

Grammar School Open Evening

Everyone was pleased to find out that one of our Year 4 boys won the competition that was held at the recent open evening at the Grammar School! A presentation was made by a member of staff from the Grammar School. yes

Production

The Mystery at Magpie Manor dates are almost upon us! Tickets will be distributed this week. 

Times: please can your child be in school at 5:45 on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th July for a prompt 6pm start. We should be finished by 7-7.15.

If you are staying for the production, please queue at the hall doors.

Mass Participation Event

We have joined in a county wide mass participation physical activity event today taking part in a warm up, boxercise and race event.

Money Sense with HSBC

Sheetal and Elly from HSBC Spalding came in this morning to talk to us about money, saving and making sensible decisions with our money.

Transition Fun

A huge thank you to our new year fours for looking after our new year threes. I think we are ready for September!heart

Hunstanton

First we litter picked (last term's topic link) then we looked for flints, sandstones and chalk (Science rocks work) finally we created our sandcastles (designed back in school) topped off with our own made flags. It was a great day which backed up so much of the year's learning as well as being a lot of fun. heart

We drew round our shadows every hour until the sky clouded over. Hopefully, tomorrow we can continue throughout the afternoon (fingers crossed!).

It is now full steam ahead with our production practising as the shows start in TWO weeks time!

Reflectivity in Science

Science- Light!

Our first session saw us investigating what we can see with only a little light as well as well reflective means. We also looked at different sources of light with some people being surprised to know that the moon is not a source of light, it merely reflects light from the moon.

Cricket

Wednesday cricket started today with some great development of catching skills already- well done everyone!
