A huge thank you to our new year fours for looking after our new year threes. I think we are ready for September!
First we litter picked (last term's topic link) then we looked for flints, sandstones and chalk (Science rocks work) finally we created our sandcastles (designed back in school) topped off with our own made flags. It was a great day which backed up so much of the year's learning as well as being a lot of fun.
A fantastic session which made everyone go 'Wow!'
Colourful Backgrounds in Fabric Paint!
How Strong are the UV Rays from the Sun at different times of day?
What happens to shadows during the day?
We drew round our shadows every hour until the sky clouded over. Hopefully, tomorrow we can continue throughout the afternoon (fingers crossed!).
Good Bye and Good Luck Mrs Ross!
We will miss you!
The Mystery of Magpie Manor
It is now full steam ahead with our production practising as the shows start in TWO weeks time!
Please can all costumes and props be in school this week. If your child has a speaking part, please can you make sure that they know all their words without the script in hand this week? Thank you
Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi!

Investigating Shadows Made by Opaque, Translucent and Transparent Objects
A great day. Thank you to all the parents who came to watch us (it looked like you had a good day too.)
Reflectivity in Science
Our first session saw us investigating what we can see with only a little light as well as well reflective means. We also looked at different sources of light with some people being surprised to know that the moon is not a source of light, it merely reflects light from the moon.
Wednesday cricket started today with some great development of catching skills already- well done everyone!
