WELCOME TO OAK CLASS

Wednesday 16th October 2024

Today we had lots of parents/carers join us to share our lovely library with their child.  It was great to see so many of you!

Wednesday 9th October 2024

Thank you to the parents/carers that joined us in Oak class to share their love of reading.

Wednesday 9th October 2024

The children really enjoyed looking at things from the past during their Topic work this afternoon.  They then sorted daily life objects into two columns according to whether they are something they have in their life now or whether  they were something that was used in the past.

Returning Books

Reading books and reading diaries need to be returned to the school classroom every Monday morning so that another group of children can enjoy the books.

Yellow spelling books need to be returned to school every Friday for the spelling test.

Homework books go out on a Tuesday and they need to be back by the following Tuesday.

Friday 20th September 2024

In Art we explored clay.  We had great fun rolling, kneading, patting, poking, squeezing, pulling and imprinting.

Wednesday 11th September 2024

Today we went out to play some team games on the field (before the hail storm).

This was also our first time of getting changed this this academic year - please make sure every item of clothing is individually named, as Oak class did look like a jumble sale!

Friday 6th September 2024

Thank you to Eddie for bringing in his own honeycomb for us all to try, it was delicious!
