Multiplication Madness
On Monday, we looked at column multiplication. We used lots of different manipulatives to see how it all worked and then applied this to some questions. We worked in groups and had to communicate our reasoning.
Willow Class Mummification
This week we have been learning about mummification. We found out the steps for mummification and then tried them out on each other!
In art we wrote our own names in clay using hieroglyphics
English -Willow Class have been exploring script writing and this week performed The 5 Little Pigs
Computing Link
This term, we are learning about Myths and Legends in our English lessons. We began by looking at the Egyptian Myth of Creation. We spent time ordering the story correctly and we will continue our learning through drama and performance in the coming weeks.
Exploring Myths and Legends
This term our science topic is Properties of Materials. We spent time defining some tricky vocabulary related to properties and then got to work exploring different objects in and around the school for their different properties.
