Term 3
On Thursday 9th February 2023 we had a special visit from Dave. He taught us all about Taiko drums and how to pass the bachi correctly. We learnt two sets of Japenese Taiko, he was completely overwhelmed by our ability to listen, store information and play back to him. Dave said Oak class are like Jedi Warriors! Well done Oak class, we are very proud of you.
In Art we made clay pots and saucers with Mrs Stanley and Miss Wantling. We can't wait for them to dry out so that we can paint them!

In Maths we are learning how to estimate and measure using non-standard units, such as paper clips, dominoes, hands and even our feet!

Welcome back and Happy New Year!
Our topic this term is 'What's cooking?' We have been reading books about Ghana and looking at resources from Ghana.
In PHSE we compared images and spoke about things that are the same and things that are different. In PE we tried curling and in Maths we are looking at the properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
