Reception Baseline Assessment

In the first few weeks of school, all of the children will complete the Reception Baseline Assessment. For further information, please see the document below.

Snacks & Drinks

Please see below a guide to the snack that we provide for the children each day.

We do try to provide a mix from those delivered, as deliveries happen every other day.

If you know that your child does not like any of these snacks, then you are more than welcome to provide your own but please ensure that snacks sent in are healthy options and that any foods that present a choking hazard e.g. grapes, cherry tomatoes, raspberries or strawberries are cut up.

We also provide milk to all children, if they wish to have it, until they reach the age of 5. After turning 5, milk can be ordered and paid for, if you wish this to continue. We can, of course, also provide water for the children but it is best if children bring in their own drinks bottles every day.

PE Kits & Spare Clothes

We ask that PE kits come into school on a Monday and then we will send them home at the end of the week. Our PE days will be likely to be Tuesdays and Fridays but this way, we can be flexible with the weather too.

Thank you to those of you that have already sent in spare clothes. We do have a small selection in school that children can borrow if needed. If your child does come home with clothes borrowed from school, please return them as quickly as you can after washing them.

Can we also please ask again that all of the children's clothes are named. We are already finding jumpers and cardigans that we cannot match up to the correct children at the end of the day.

Tapestry

We are now in the process of registering all of the children on Tapestry. This will take a few days but should be done by the end of the first full week.

If you would like an email address adding to your child's account, please let us know through the home-school diary. We will not automatically add email addresses that you hve may have shared through the office. Please remember that you can have as many email addresses added to your child's acount as you wish.

Once registered, you will receive an email asking you to set up a password. If you have any issues logging in, please let us know and we will try to sort it for you.
