Due to the heatwave this week and the temperature being around 30 degrees, we are reminding parents to:

• Please ensure your child arrives at school already wearing sun cream every morning.
• Please send you child with a named bottle of sun cream so that they can reapply it themselves if need be (staff cannot apply sun cream and bottlers must not be shared due to allergies).
• Please provide your child with a named sun hat to either keep on their peg at school or bring back every day.
• Please ensure your child brings a refillable drinks bottle to school every single morning.

Welcome back to Term 6.  We hope you all enjoyed the sunshine over the holiday.  Thank you for the amazing Extended Home Study Projects that were completed, Oak class's were bigger and brighter than ever before.

Our topic this term is 'Going for Glory' which is to do with the World Cup, the Olympics, Wimbledon and other world sporting events.

On Tuesday 2nd June we took the children to Ayscoughfee School for the annual Music Festival.  They behaved impeccably and sang their little hearts out - Well done everyone!

Fathers Day Wrap is on Friday 19th June, payment must be made by Monday 15th June at the very latest.  Gifts are priced at £3 each and children can buy as many as they wish.  Monies to be paid to the school office in a named envelope please.
