Spalding Children's Centre The children's centre offer a range of free services from pregnancy to five years including a variety of early years sessions, antenatal education, and baby massage. During the school holidays, older siblings up to eight years old are welcome at our holiday fun sessions only.

Children's Therapy Service Each child is unique and individual, and will develop skills at different rates. If your child is having difficulty developing certain skills they may benefit from specialist assessment, support and advice from our service. The team are made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and therapy assistants. We provide specialist therapy services for children and young people, between the ages of 0 -19, to support them to achieve their potential. We work all across the county of Lincolnshire in a variety of locations.

Start for life Help and advice available in Lincolnshire for everyone during pregnancy, when giving birth and during the first two years of a child's life.

Children's health We can help you by providing health advice and information about your baby, child or young person. To speak to a health professional in the team, please contact us on 01522 843000.

Lending Library The Lending Library offers a range of resources available for loan to support early bonding and attachment, while supporting your child’s development and establishing routines. This is a free service for parents and carers from pregnancy and children from birth to 5 years as well as Early Years Professionals to access.

Working Together Team The Working Together Team is a National Autistic Society Beacon Status Accredited Service. We advocate best practice and provide specialist support to empower mainstream settings to ensure autistic children & young people thrive through collaborative working with families and professionals.

Language Development and Phonics

Speech and Language UK- child's progress checker 1.9 million children currently struggle with talking and understanding words. Our progress checker is based on what we know about how babies and children develop skills. Choose the age of the child and then answer the questions. At the end, we will direct you to some helpful advice and resources.

Little Wandle Letters and Sounds The resources on this page will help you support your child with saying their sounds and writing their letters. There are also some useful videos so you can see how they are taught at school and feel confident about supporting their reading at home.
