Sacrewell Farm Visit
On Tuesday 30th September we were blessed with beautiful sunshine, the beautiful Sacrewell Farm and beautifully behaved children!
First we investigated the journey of wheat by milling grain with an electric mini-mill before making and baking our own delicious scones.
We then explored the Victorian watermill and discovered the history of farming, food production and life before electricity.
After lunch we met the animals (we especially loved the inquisitive goats) before playing in the fantastic adventure play area.
WELCOME TO OAK CLASS
We are a class of 28 fantastic children. Our teacher is Mrs Smart and our teaching assistant is Mrs Stanley. We also have additional support from 1:1 teaching assistants Mrs Rudd, Mrs English, Mrs Williamson and Mrs Bull.
Our topic this term is 'FROM FIELD TO FORK'. Our PE days are Mondays and Tuesdays and please ensure all PE kits are named and on pegs everyday just in case we change the day. Please can earrings either be taken out or taped over at home.
We are really looking forward to a brilliant year ahead. If you need anything, please write in your child's home/school link book or catch us on the door, we are always happy to help!
