Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On the 19th May, we are having a non-uniform day to raise money for Red cross. Please wear something red.
We ask that each student brings in £1, if they wish to wear non-uniform.
We will also be holding or toy sale, from the items kindly donated, on the same day. At 2:45 if any children have brought in money they can purchase items. We will be on the playground, weather permitting, after school if you wish to attend the sale with your child/ren.
The toys will be priced at:
£1 for a small toy.
£2 for a medium toy.
£3 for a large toy.
£5 for anything extra large or brand new.
Please can we request that you bring small change or notes. We may not have change for £20 notes.
On Friday 9th May the School Council were invited to the opening of the Community Orchard
which is behind the Scalextric Centre in Weston Hills.
When we arrived, we explored the different trees in the orchard and we used a map to find out about the different fruit trees.
Sir John Hayes joined us and we answered some tricky questions about the purpose of trees.
Lastly, we helped Sir John Hayes plant a tree and watered some of the orchard.
As a school, we are proud of our School Council children. They represented the school brilliantly over the afternoon.’
‘Thank you to the school council who tidied up our area at the park over two Tuesday mornings.
They worked hard weeding and tidying the area, then planting some beautiful new plants.
Well done for looking after our community space.’
