Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
In Willow Class, we have been learning about working as a community to help protect the environment. We will be holding an ‘Environment Afternoon’ in school on Thursday 31st March.
The afternoon will involve visiting all of the classes and leading a variety of activities.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could kindly bring in materials like plastic bottles, empty toilet rolls, plastic bags, milk bottles/cartons, cereal boxes and empty packets to help us run our environmentally friendly activity afternoon!
On Thursday 10th March 2022, Collective worship Council led our whole school Collective worship on this terms value of Wisdom. They asked the children what they thought Wisdom was and then told them a story about 'The Owl and the Dormouse'. The story showed how both the Owl and the Dormouse used their Wisdom.
They ended with a reflection, getting us to think about times we have needed to use our Wisdom. A prayer about Wisdom closed Collective Worship and we sang "He'll be There" together before going back to our classrooms.
We would be VERY grateful if anybody has any old pool noodles taking up room that are in good condition and you do not want back so we can cut them up and the children in Oak class can then have two noodles each for their music.
Thank you from Mrs Nicholls and Oak class.
